The crown on the implant
The same crown, a different abutment – and a few important differences.
On an implant sits first an abutment and on that the crown. It is screwed or cemented. Screwed has the advantage that it can be removed again without destroying it.
What is different from your own tooth
Your own tooth hangs resiliently in the bone; an implant is rigidly fused with it. That is why the bite on an implant crown is adjusted more carefully. And: an implant feels no pain. An inflammation at the implant does not announce itself – it only shows at the check-up.
Costs
