The bonus booklet: why it is worth real money

If you have a dental check-up once a calendar year and have it confirmed in the bonus booklet, you get more for your dental prosthesis: after five unbroken years 70 instead of 60 per cent of the standard care, after ten years 75 per cent.

For children and young people

Between 12 and 18 it is two check-ups a year. Those years count later on – anyone who goes regularly as a teenager already has the full bonus in their mid-twenties.

One gap, and it starts from the beginning

If a year is missing, the count starts again. That is harsh, but it is the rule. Exceptions exist only in narrowly defined cases, for instance in serious illness.

The practice can confirm past check-ups from its documentation. Ask about that before you write those years off.
